A Luang Prabang style standing Buddha. The arms are long, and the hips narrow and almost triangular in shape. The torso of the image is elongated, the chest flat, the shoulders narrow, the neck long, an the head small and narrow, his eyes inlaid with mother of pearl. The post display the "Disclosing the Three Worlds gesture, with arms and hands pressed tightly against the torso. The correct gesture is to have open hands. (In early times, Lao craftsmen apparently lacked the skill to carve images having a space between the arms and torso), gilded. His robe is plain with both ends flared outward
